Happy Belated 2019's Valentine's Day!!

As I said a couple days ago in Rachel's introduction, I brought Rachel into TSA for sole purpose of having a Christian character, but she acts more like a Wild West character.

That and Anne doesn't like Kylo - Rachel was expecting another fight.

Some background to Rachel: She grew up on the streets of Mos Eisly, so perhaps you can see where her paranoid aggressive streak comes from. The cat is named Doomdreg, among other things. Rachel calls him Doomdreg, or Doomie if he hasn't recently annoyed her. Most of the inhabitants of Mos Eisly, and also of the city Rachel recently left because Doomdreg was savaging people, simply refer to him as "that thing" or "IT." That should give you a good idea of how the cat acts.

Caveat: at the time of this comic, Rachel was kind of a crazy combative character. (Not a great pick for my Christian character, I know.) But by the time she became a main-cast-member of the strip, she had calmed down a lot. (Doomdreg never did, though.)

Kylo always dresses up for whatever holiday it is. I think it looks pretty goofy, although, it'll probably become old fast if I keep it up.

Rachel doesn't look at all natural in pink. She's not a very girly girl. (I just commented that she has paranoid aggressive issues and she spent most of her childhood trying to either avoid fights, win them, or intimidate the other person into giving it up. You wouldn't expect a girl like that to be much into the pretty in pink look.)

On the other hand, remind me to draw Ava in her Sabbath best sometime. It's a pink dress.

Siiiigh. . . .this was one of the best comics of TSA history, and then silly me just had to go and water it down.

It originally read like this:

Rachel: "Hello,  'Light Socket.'"
Anne: "Hello, 'If You're Standing Close Enough to Read This, You're Too Close.'"

That phrase, "if you're close enough to read this, you're too close," pretty well sums up Rachel's personality at the time of the writing. Once again - she improved with time. Although she still likes about two yards of personal space.
